David and Lady are your English teachers, adventure coaches and hosts, present throughout your stay with JLA for support and encouragement.
David is a Modern Languages (French and Spanish) graduate and is a CELTA qualified English Language teacher. Lady is a Language Studies graduate and is fluent is English, French and Spanish. Lady loves everything that is ‘language’. In fact, she also has a working knowledge of Italian and Portuguese and can speak some Japanese, Arabic and German too.
David is a British Mountaineering Council qualified rock climbing coach, Canoe England qualified kayak coach, and International Surf Association qualified surf and Stand Up Paddle coach, as well as an accredited RNLSS Beach Lifesaver and First Aider.
Lady and David live together in Jersey with their two children. In their spare time they like to climb, travel, play music and plan the next adventure!

We take great care to provide excellent meals every day. We’ve got our own teenage children so we know how to please young people when it comes to food!”
“We love to discover new places through travel and adventure. We’ve climbed together in Thailand, Laos, Morocco, and across Europe, and surfed together in Sri Lanka. We recently discovered a shared passion for long distance independent treks and have completed the GR20 in Corsica and The Huayhuash trek in the Peruvian Andes.“
