Terms & Conditions

Payments:

A deposit comprising 50% of the course fee is required to confirm your booking. The balance of payment of the course fee is required by the 31st of May. If you make your booking after the 31st of May the total course fee is due on registration.

Cancellation:

In the event of you cancelling your stay at any time, we reserve the right to retain 10% of the course fee to cover administration costs. In the event of you cancelling your stay within 6 weeks of the start of the course we reserve the right to retain 50% of the course fee.

We will however endeavour to re-let the dates to another student. If we are successful then you will be refunded 85% of the course fee. Refunds for cancellations due to extreme circumstances will be dealt with on a case by case basis.

In the event of government restrictions or major events which make travel to Jersey impossible we reserve the right to retain 15% of the course fee to cover administration costs.

Postponed courses:

Courses that have been paid for will be credited to a later date. A course which is postponed within 6 weeks of the arrival date is treated as a cancellation.

Non-arrival:

If a student does not arrive for their course (without having previously notified us), the course fees cannot be refunded.

Curtailments/alterations:

Clients cutting their stay short are not entitled to a refund.

Travel to and From Jersey:

Jersey Language Adventure is not a travel agent. We organise ferry tickets to and from Jersey as a courtesy to our clients.

Jersey Language Adventure is not responsible for costs incurred due to delayed or cancelled ferries.

In the event of a last minute change or cancellation by the ferry company, you will need to make arrangements for your child whilst he or she is still in France.

No refund on course fees can be given due to cancelled or delayed ferries. This should be covered by your travel insurance which we recommend you take out before travelling.
