I spent a wonderful week with JLA. It’s really great to be able to speak english with other people and live in group. And the fact to had some lessons on the mornings and some fun activities was really cool! Thank you David & Lady. See you soon.

Amazing weeks! Third time I went there with David and Lady and they are incredible, nice, helpful and always smiling! They adapt themselves to each level of english and they always try to make us happy whatever we need. Teachers are funny and make learning games.

Activities are varied and always in a good mood. I highly recommand this summer camp!! Thanks for everything JLA team!

I was there last summer, it was great! The activities were fun and my vocabulary enhanced. Lady and David were really welcoming. I recommend going there and look forward to hopefully come again.

Our 16 year old son had a great time staying at JLA. The teachers as well as the family who looked after him during 2 weeks last July were absolutely perfect. JLA’s unusual way of teaching English along with sports activities helped improving his language skills Indeed!

I went to Jersey last holiday for 1 week with Jersey Language Adventure. It was an enriching adventure. I had a very good week. I wish I could go to Jersey with you next year

I went to Jersey last year for an English course at Jersey Language Adventure. A good level in English is compulsory in my job, and this course was a brand new one in my company.

I had already attended one-to-one courses in different countries (UK and Ireland), but I must say that this one was certainly the best ever!

My son Thomas (14) went to Jersey for the first time this summer. He was first reluctant to spend 2 weeks there as his level in English was elementary and he was anxious about how to communicate. Thanks to David, the host family and the other students, we did well and really enjoyed his stay ! The combination of courses in the morning and adventure activities in the afternoon is obviously a successful and fun way to improve your English. No doubt : Thomas is ready for a new stay with JLA on this beautiful Island!

I went to David, in Saint Hélier, for a week in Decembre 2010, one week before Christmas. Not only I have made huge progress, but learning has been very high quality. I hope to return quickly in this family who helped me made progress and who has been available for me. I highly recommend JLA to anyone wishing to make rapid progress in English.

I spent 1 week in Jersey and it was very very good. My host family was very nice with me and I learned a lot of vocabulary. The morning we did english lesson,then the lunch, after we did the activity (coasteering , rock climbing, surf, shopping, cinema…) and finally we returned to our host family for the dinner.The stay was very good and very interesting. I hope I can return next year.

I just would like to confirm that Camille spend a very nice week with JLA. It was her first experience of English courses abroad. First of all, she did not want to stay more than 1 week… But finally every day she wrote us an email to describe her exciting journey and asking us if she could become two weeks next year because 7 days is not enough !!!! I had trust in David immediately after our first contact which is very important for parents. Congratulation to JLA.

We enjoyed the during 2 weeks JLA. In the morning English classes, in the afternoon “coasteering” for my sister…, surfing and barbecue in the evening. We met very nice people and we improve our vocabulary. Duncan was with David the best teacher, we ever had. We hope to to back next summer Thanks and see you soon.

J’ai séjourné quelques jours chez David et LAdy avec ma fille et mon neveu (12 et 13 ans). Je voulais attirer l’attention des enfants sur l’intérêt de bien parler anglais pour leur avenir. David les a sollicité en les faisant participer sans moi à différentes activités (cuisine, peinture, etc…). C’était génial, le contact s’est établi immédiatement et nous avons passé un super séjour en immersion totale, comme si nous faisions partie de la famille. Des gens adorables ! Les enfants voudraient y retourner seuls next time !!!

Last summer, I returned to Jersey for 1 week. As 2 years ago, it was just marvelous. JLA really makes you improve your english, with really nice teachers, the best ever, on a wonderful island, with loads of things to do and plenty opportunities to meet people, do sports, play music, develop you artistic skills… and learn english by funny ways. JLA is just a wonderful adventure that I’m sure I’ll never forget…

We have made a great deal progress in listening-comprehension, in speaking and in English grammar. We have already noticed the advantages in our job. And it was a very important life experience! We hope we will return to Jersey next year for another beautiful adventure!

Hallo, mein Name ist Nils Rothenberger und ich komme aus der Nähe von Heidelberg! Ich war für 2 Wochen in Jersey bei JLA! Es war eine sehr schöne Zeit, mit vielen neuen Abenteuern. Ich hatte sehr nette Gastfamilien, mit denen man viel Spaß haben konnte. Ebenso mit den Kindern. Der Unterricht war sehr interresant und hat mich in der Englischen Sprache weitergebracht! Ich bin auf die nächsten Arbeiten sehr gespannt! David ist sehr sportlich und nimmt jede Person auf, als wäre es sein eigenes Kind. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl! Er versucht,jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Es war eine superschöne Zeit, die ich nicht missen möchte! Ein herzlichen Dankeschön an meine Gastfamilien, an David, Duncan und Fred! Hoffentlich bis bald, Nils.

The atmosphere on a beautiful island like Jersey can only be very cool !!! I hope that I could return next year because I had a lot of progress and amusement.

C’était très bien pendant 3 semaines en août, j’ai été super accueillie en famille et j’ai fait des progrès en Anglais. Je suis vraiment contente d’avoir été sur cette île. J’ai beaucoup aimé les activités, surtout le coasteering ! Un bon séjour linguistique et de bons souvenirs. Merci David,, Duncan, Carmel, James et les enfants.

Notre fille, Victoire, 17 ans et demi, a effectué avec JLA un séjour linguistique du 31 Juillet au 21 Août 2011. Elle fait d’énormes progrès en Anglais tout en passant 3 semaines de vacances sur la belle île de Jersey. Tout lui a plu : l’accueil chaleureux en famille, les cours, les rencontres et les activités physiques comme le “coasteering” et David, l’organisateur, est extraordinaire ! Un grand merci à David, son entourage et sa famille. A Bientôt !
