This is arranged on an individual basis. We communicate with families and provide the necessary level of supervision for your child. If desired, children may spend the whole week under our supervision taking part in all of our family activities outside of the JLA programme. The JLA holiday programme for young learners is a busy programme and students normally have only one afternoon free to explore the island, or do some souvenir shopping.

JLA has its own minibus but it is sometimes necessary for students to use the local bus service to get to and from a central meeting point. Younger students who are not used to travelling by public transport will be picked up and dropped off by David or their host family. We ask parents to budget for £15 per week for bus journeys, just in case.
