English language and Adventure programmes in Jersey

Jersey Language Adventure is a small English school based on the island of Jersey in the Channel Islands.

JLA offers teenage holiday camps and year round language courses for all ages and abilities.

Our courses combine first class English tuition with exciting adventure activities. Accommodation is provided with a wonderful host family or on our Adventure Camp.

Fun, classroom based learning is combined with outdoor learning in a more relaxed and social environment.

Jersey Language Adventure students work in small groups with a maximum of four students per English teacher. Working in such small groups allows students to develop confidence, and to concentrate on improving their oral fluency in English.

With such a range of activities, students are faced with lots of new vocabulary which is processed quickly due to the practical nature of the course and the environment in which new words are encountered.

Students are encouraged to speak in English throughout their stay with Jersey Language Adventure. We support and motivate our students continually so that maximum progress in English is made as quickly as possible.

But Jersey Language Adventure is much more than just an English School. Our courses are designed to bring people together, to allow social and emotional development, and to bring our young students to life. We encourage our English students to shine, to develop their personalities, and to challenge themselves every step of the way.
