Adventure Camp accommodation perfectly compliments JLA’s exciting and adventurous Young Learner programme.
Staying on the Camp with David, Lady and the JLA team is an educational roller coaster ride of fun and adventure. Camp life is filled with character building experiences, which will create memories to last a lifetime.

David and Lady are your Adventure Camp hosts present at all times to help you progress in English as well as to help make you feel at home.

Evenings: Home cooked evening meals with David and Lady as well as camp barbecues, campfire singalongs, toasted marshmallows, and games.

Weekends: If you are staying more than one week, JLA organises activities and entertainment both on and off camp during the weekend. Normally on Saturday our students have some free time and on Sunday we do something together. This could be a beach day, cinema trip or another fun activity. As always we are 100% flexible to meet the needs of our students.

Community: Our Adventure Camp is located on a 5* family campsite in the rural heart of one of Jersey’s parishes. In such a location, JLA students benefit from improved links with the English speaking community.

Camp Facilities: The JLA Adventure Camp benefits from the use of the excellent campsite facilities, including heated swimming pool, a games room, outside play area and playing fields for team games, as well as a full on-site programme of entertainment. Our students are also able to use the free wifi and relaxation space.

Comfortable sleeping tents: Our sleeping tents are spacious and waterproof, and are furnished with real mattresses. Students normally share in pairs. JLA students experience outdoor living in comfort and style. We have a large kitchen tent where we prepare nutritious meals, a dining tent for inside dining and a sunsail for outside dining. Plenty of seating makes the JLA camp the perfect place to relax and enjoy the long summer evenings.

The small size of our English school enables us to work with the very finest Jersey host families. We choose our families based on their friendliness, supportive nature, and warm homely welcome.
Our families are dedicated to making your stay in Jersey as enjoyable and rewarding as possible. They are committed to helping you achieve your goals in English and will support and encourage you every step of the way.
We work closely with our families, to ensure that our students are comfortable and relaxed at home. We spend time making sure that our students are placed with appropriate families where they feel happy, are confident to communicate, and have the opportunity to become ʻone of the familyʼ.
